Custom Domains Are Here: Brand Your Project Portals
If you're running client projects or internal operations at scale, you know how much brand consistency matters. Starting today, Professional and Business plan members can connect custom domains to their CraftDesk project portals.
What This Means
Instead of sharing portals at projects.craftdesk.app/abc123, your clients or team see projects.yourcompany.com—or whatever subdomain you choose. It's a small detail that says "we take this seriously."
- Professional plan – 1 custom domain included
- Business plan – 10 custom domains included
How It Works
The setup is straightforward:
- Go to your account settings and select Custom Domains
- Add your domain (e.g.,
projects.acme.com) - We'll show you the DNS records to add
- Verify ownership, and you're live—usually within minutes
- SSL is automatic via Let's Encrypt, so it's always secure
No manual certificate management, no weird configuration steps. You add the DNS record, we handle the rest.
Perfect For
Agency Teams – White-label client portals without building your own frontend.
Enterprise Operations – Project dashboards that feel like part of your internal domain structure.
Compliance-Heavy Industries – Audit trails and logs appear to come from your own infrastructure, simplifying compliance audits.
Multi-Brand Operations – Run separate project spaces for different brands or business units, each under their own domain.
A Note on Branding
Custom domains are about control and trust, not about hiding CraftDesk. You're still using our platform—it just lives at your address. We're proud of what we've built, and we think you will be too.
If you're on the Professional or Business plan, head to your account settings now and claim your domain. For Starter users, upgrading unlocks this feature along with advanced analytics, higher API limits, and priority support.
Here's to building in your own space.
